Common questions

How does the free trial and subscription work?

TrackingForGains comes with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, you'll need a subscription to keep using it — either monthly or annual, at the price shown in the app when you sign up.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account (Google Play coming soon) and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Because billing is handled by Apple, you cancel through your device — we can't cancel it for you:

  • Open Settings on your iPhone and tap your name at the top.
  • Tap Subscriptions, choose TrackingForGains, then tap Cancel Subscription.

You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. (On Google Play, cancel from the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.)

Can I get a refund?

Subscription refunds are handled by the app store, not by us. For purchases through Apple, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, use the Play Store's refund process. If you bought something in the in-app Shop, contact that seller directly — Shop items are sold by third parties.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can request account deletion from within the app's settings, or email [email protected] and we'll take care of it. Deleting your account removes your personal information, except for limited records we're required to keep by law. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I report abusive content or block someone?

In the community forums, you can block another member from their profile, and report any message or post that breaks our community standards. Forum messages also pass through an automated filter for abusive language. If something needs urgent attention, email [email protected] and we'll review it.

The macros or food info look off. What can I do?

TrackingForGains pulls from trusted nutrition databases, but values are estimates and occasionally a database entry is wrong. You can create a custom food with your own values, or use quick add to enter macros directly. Spotted a bad entry? Let us know at [email protected].

How does the adherence score work?

Your adherence score reflects how consistently you log meals and complete your weekly check-ins. Missing logs or check-ins lowers it. Because it can be visible to members who follow you, it's meant to keep you accountable — not to share private health details. You control who follows you.

I found a bug or have a feature idea.

We'd love to hear it. Email [email protected] with as much detail as you can — what you were doing, your device model, and a screenshot if you have one. It genuinely helps us fix things faster.
